Vintage Wedding at Stanley House

Steamed into 2012 with a fantastic Vintage style wedding at Stanley House! Mike and Lyndsey Sagar tied the knot in true vintage style at the very swanky Stanley House.

Classic swing and jazz music played through old style gramophones to set the tone for the drinks reception, held in Stanley House’s newly refurbished “Grill on the Hill”.

The gramophones were a brilliant idea and gave the wedding a real vintage feel.

The fun continued into the wedding breakfast with some great intro’s into the Stables before dinner, then over to me to get things swinging throughout the dinner.

The place was buzzin! People up dancing and singing, a great atmosphere!

Let me tell you, the party kept swinging all day and all night, after singing the first dance it was over to the fabulous “Tootsie Rollers” to keep things going, they put on a great show and were lovely to work with..

This goes into the “One of the Best” archive, a brilliant wedding for a brilliant couple. Love and best wishes to the new Mr and Mrs Sager x

The entire day was something to cherish as you might expect for me as Father of the Bride. The weather was perfect the venue was fantastic. The style and standard of entertainment provided by Howard was unbelievable. Howard has a natural way of making his audience feel so at ease it is so personal and special. This was complimented in the evening by the Tootsie Rollers with a wow factor that just had to be seen. It was such a mind blowing experience for everyone that was lucky enough to be there on the day. The messages that I have received from friends and family range from thanks for the invite to pure amazement at being part of a fantastic day. Hopefully my comments come across just how grateful I am to Howard and the Tootsies and I wish them every success and no doubt they now have many more fans. As for me I’m still in a daze and if only I could turn the clock back to have the day again. I know that’s not possible but thanks for the memories and I will cherish them forever. Many many thanks from a very proud Dad.

    Howard,

Where can we begin to thank you. From the moment I stumbled across you online, during the endless research in the planning phase, I knew you had something incredibly special. Then when Michael and I met you in person, we had the feeling we were onto something completely unique. Being the personalities we are, we wanted a wedding day that would not only realise our dreams, but give our guests the ‘wow’ factor, and you certainly delivered on this. There wasn’t one person at the wedding who didn’t feel completely blown away by the element of surprise and your lovely Michael Buble-esque tones – it was truly amazing to have so many people compliment the wedding and we know you were an integral part in this so, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

We wish you every success for the future… and hope to see you very soon, we will definitely be taking you on a journey with us through special occassions in our next chapter as The Sagars.

    Yours in vintage appreciation,

    Mr & Mrs Michael Sagar

    xx
